This is a tricky question.

Our products are built to international standards and generally are compatible with other products built on the same platform e.g. Z-WAVE but you need remember that depending on where products are manufactured will determine the frequency range the devices will work i.e. Europe runs on different frequencies to the U.S so if you decide to buy your product on your holiday in the U.S your device may not work with products designed for the E.U. Without getting to technical our products are built with the European frequency range that are compliant with the laws of South Africa.

Yes, you can either pay online and select collect when checking out ( our prefered method as its much faster to process) or you can pay in store with credit or debit card.

We have partnered with the best and most secure payment gateways available and most probably you have used them with online payments before. All transactions are handled by Paygate(Pty) Ltd (www.paygate.co.za). All information transferred throughout the payment process is secured with a 2048-bit encryption key over SSL. That means that this information cannot be traced, intercepted or used by unauthorized third parties. Your credit card information will not be kept in our system. We don’t want that risk we just want happy customers

Yes, it is! We value our customers and therefore have installed the best SSL security so you can be sure your data is safe with us.

We accept all Master and Visa cards through the Paygate portal. Paygate is trusted by all South African banks including Standard Bank, Absa, FNB and Nedbankhave an answer

Yes, our products are covered by the Manufactures guarantee that is generally 1 year from the time of purchase. If you get a faulty product send us a mail to customerservice@iotrend.co.za and we will try get the problem sorted for you.

If you notice straight away that the box is damaged or something seems wrong tell the courier person to make a note of it immediately (NB!) and then let us know at customerservice@iotrend.co.za within 5 days of receipt of the item at your delivery address. At this point you can open the parcel and check on the status of the item. If the item is perfect and fine and you are to keep it then keep it. If the Item is damaged or you are unhappy get in touch with us and we will try sort you out.

If you need to return the product be sure to do so within 5 days of receipt of the item at the delivery address. You will be requested to supply your order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item. We will respond with a return authorisation.

We unfortunately do not ship outside of South Africa, but don’t let that stop you ordering and sending your item to a friend’s or families house and arranging the collection yourselves.

Yes. But please make sure that you or someone you trust are there or that you give clear instruction on who can accept the parcel or give your extension number at the office etc. Once your package is delivered to the address its out of our hands, literally. If no one is available to accept the parcel we will contact you to setup a new time and this can make delivery often a lot longer and be inconvenient.
