The Commax Intercom 1:2 Master Handset is a surface mounted master handset which is powered by the slave handset and is also connected to the gate station.
If the gate station is rung while communication is taking place between the Master and Slave handset, the handset will ring but communication with the gate station will happen once the handsets are first hung up. Volume control can only be managed via the Master handset.
