The patented Nemtek Dual Action Tension Sensor DATS3 can detect a change of tension in the fence wire and uses the electric fence monitoring circuit to create an alarm condition on the energizer.
The Dual Action Tension Sensor increases the likelihood of an intruder being detected as it detects the lifting, pressing or forcing of the fence wires. It is equipped with a dual detection system to ensure that an alarm is triggered and reduces the possibility of tampering.
The Dual Action Tension Sensor DATS3 is used with galvanised and aluminium fence wires with a detection range (straight line) of up to 50m.
Suitable for the heavier gauge wires used in freestanding fencing.

FEATURES OF THE DUAL ACTION TENSION SENSOR:
- Is paired up with the Hybrid Compression Spring CNT3HB or CNT4HB. This is so that the tension in the fence wires can be adequately maintained
- Detects a change in tension on a fence line
- Detects an open circuit at its first-stage trigger
- Detects a dead short at its second-stage trigger
- Constructed from robust material to suit all wire types up to 2.5mm
- Easy to install and retrofit onto most existing Nemtek electric fences

Delivery
- Free delivery on orders of R1,000 or more, nationwide. Orders under R1,000: R99 standard delivery.
- Oversize items (gate motor kits, gate rack, garage door motors): an additional R250 per order, also on free-delivery orders.
- Electric fence poles always carry an additional delivery charge. We confirm the amount with you before dispatch.
- Usually delivered in 3–4 working days after payment, often faster. We email you a tracking number when your order ships.
- Click & Collect is free from our Linbro Business Park store, Sandton. Usually ready within 24 hours on business days, subject to stock availability.
Returns & Warranty
- Changed your mind: return within 7 days, unused, not installed and in the original packaging. We refund the item price less a 15% handling and restocking fee. The original delivery fee is not refunded. *T&C’s apply
- Wrong, missing or damaged on arrival: note it on the courier’s delivery note before you sign and tell us within 7 days. We collect the item, and you choose the correct item, a replacement or a full refund.
- Faulty: every product has a 6-month warranty. We test the item and, if we confirm a fault, you choose a repair, a replacement or a refund.
- Please note: all returned products require technical testing before a refund, replacement or repair is offered.
- The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, modification or misuse. We tell you the outcome in writing.

- Batteries: defects are covered. Damage from deep discharge or incorrect charging is not.
