Ajax GlassProtect White is a miniature wireless indoor glass break detector that recognizes the sound of glass breaking from a distance of up to 9 meters. At the same time, passing cars or barking dogs do not cause false alarms.
The GlassProtect can operate up to 7 years from a pre-installed battery and has a socket for connecting a third-party wired detector.
GlassProtect operates within the Ajax system, connected to the hub via the protected Jeweller protocol.
The detector is compatible only with Ajax Hub, Ajax Hub Plus, Ajax ReX, Ajax ocBridge Plus and Ajax uartBridge.

Please Note: GlassProtect detector does not react to the breaking of the film-covered glass: shockproof, sunscreen, decorative, or any other type of film. To detect the breaking of such kind of glass, we recommend using the DoorProtect Plus wireless opening detector with shock and tilt sensors.
INSTALLATION AND SET-UP
The Ajax GlassProtect Plus comes ready to operate straight out the box.
The battery is pre-installed, so there is no need to disassemble the detector. The Ajax GlassProtect can be mounted on the SmartBracket in just a few minutes.
Connect the GlassProtect to the hub via the mobile application.
